Yesterday, a few hours after we had sex, my boyfriend noticed itching on his penis, although he's fine today.  This evening, I noticed itching that I'm guessing is a yeast infection (I've only had one before, about a month ago, and I never have the characteristic cottage cheese discharge etc, just itching and rawness).
1. Is it likely that he has it as well, and should I make him use Monostat or whatever to treat it also?
2. Should I wash the sheets/pair of pants I was wearing without underwear/etc, worrying that they could possibly give the infection back to me or to my boyfriend, or is this not a problem?
3. I've seen the images for oral thrush and they're not pretty.  If I went down on him for a few minutes today, is it likely that I'm going to get that?  I think I read somewhere that it's unlikely to get oral thrush from a yeast infection, but not sure.

Thanks so much!

So last night, just as I was about to take my "Friday" pill I popped it out and somehow lost the sucker.  I looked all over and I couldn't find it so I just took the one for the next day.

First, is this okay?  Scond of all, how the heck does someone lose their pill?  Has this happened to anyone else?  I feel so stupid (and definitely want to look into another kind of birth control that doesn't require me to remember to take something every day)

So back around Christmas I had a yeast infection.
I didn't know it was one at first(I'd never had one before). I had no discharge but it was itchy and a bit sore but I figured it was because I'd been masturbating a lot and my toy isn't exactly tiny. Christmas eve it was fairly sore but I still, um, went at it with my slightly larger toy and on Christmas day I was quite sore and very itchy.

I still chalked it up to the large toys and friction, especially since I had no discharge.
Boxing Day I was kind of convinced it was a yeast infection but there was no discharge so I continued to leave it. I found a little bit of discharge on the morning of the 27th(my birthday.. happy birthday to me) and decided to head to Shoppers and picked up some monistat. THEN I got my period and I read that your period is supposed to balance the pH in your vagina and all that jazz. The box also said to use the monistat even if you're on your period.. so I did! I waited the week that my period lasts and I felt better(which would've been about Monday of this week).

I also replaced my toy for one the same size but made of silicone instead of jelly(because I read about the cleanliness of toys and stuff). So I used it on Wednesday night and then again on Thursday night for a while and Thursday during I noticed I was a bit dry(but I used a good "sensitive skin" water based lube) and slightly sore but I figured it was nothing really. Friday morning I was itchy and sore and it felt like the beginning of the last yeast infection(still does). I've been checking for cottage cheesy discharge or a difference in smell but there's been none. Just itch around the opening and some soreness.

Could this be from all the use of the biggish toy? Orrr do we think my yeastie might be back.
I really, really hate being out of commission like this :(
ALSO very unlikely that it's an STI because I'm a virgin and the only guy who's gone down there in the past while(a little under a month ago) is as well and doesn't exactly get around soo. D:?

TIA D:!

EDIT: Cottage cheese showed up. :( It's a yeast infection, I'm treating it with a clove of garlic as I type.

I got my Paragard inserted during the time of my last menstrual period, the first week of december. Prior to that, my cycles have been around 30 days, and I've never been on HBC except using Plan B once this past October.

July period -September period 58 Day Cycle <-- I'm guessing maybe I skipped here, because that seems absurdly long
September period - October period 26 Day Cycle
October period -November period 28 Day Cycle
November period - December period- 32 Day Cycle

December- January---> according to my monthly cycles I'm on Day 41 (8 days late)

I tracked my cycle and I pretty sure I ovulated around December 17th, however as of today I still haven't had my period. However since yesterday I've felt a little more crampy, and other PMS things like tender breasts. I check my strings every week and they're basically the same length so I should still be protected. Haven't taken a pregnancy test yet just because I,m pretty sure I should be fine since the stats for pregnancy on the Paragard are so low!

I'm just confused why it hasn't come yet? Maybe I predicted my ov. date wrong and it actually happend later, because I know your luteal phase isn't supposed to change by very much. Should I take a pregnancy test just in case? I have a Dr's appointment on the 24th. Would it be bad to wait that long. Would it be safe to guess that these weird PMSy feelings mean my period is coming?

Thanks!
