 good evening (morning?) superstars!

this is a breast-health related question and not a vag one but I'm hoping it's ok still.

History: I was put on Yaz at the age of 17 for acne/birthcontrol (my mom wanted me on it because I would be in college the following year anyways) and after a few months developed a cyst in my left breast.  My doctor confirmed it was a cyst and explained to me what they will normally feel like because a few months later I found another one.  I put up with the cysts for a few years because I liked how yaz worked for my periods.  This past summer I changed to nuvaring because I finally got sick of sore boobs and realized that the Yaz was probably behind my cystic breasts to begin with.

Recently: I was doing a BSE (encouraged by my doctor just because I have a tendency to have cystic/dense tissue in my breasts) and most of the cysts in my breasts have gone down (no longer feel large/sore).  I found a new lump and this one doesn't feel like a cyst.  It is much more solid and seems to be attached/fixed to my ribs.  Exactly how worried should I be? I don't want to use Dr. Google and I'm going to call for an appointment with my gyno tomorrow but wouldn't mind some reassurance until then.

Also: i'm 19, got my first period when I was 10<which i know is a risk of breast cancer, but no family history of it.

Hi VP,
I had a pelvic exam this morning and received some distressing news:  I have psoriasis on my mons pubis.  I went into the appointment hoping for the diagnosis of a yeast infection, because i've been itchy and smell slightly different, but got this instead.  This is really upsetting for me because I already have (treated) psoriasis in other locations (small patches on my scalp, face, and fingers) that wax and wane depending on my stress level and how much I've been using the creams.  So it's not terribly suprising but I find myself really upset about this.

I'm 25, overweight, and a virgin.  Basically I have enough issues with my body without adding this to the mix, you know?  My family members who have psoriasis have had it their whole lives, so I'm really worried about being stuck with it there forever.  It also doesn't help that I'm sleep-deprived and stressed out enough about school, work and applying to grad school already.  I pretty much had a panic attack in the exam room and cried the whole way home.  I'm hoping I can pull it together to get on with my day-- I just want to go to bed and mope at this point!

Has anyone experienced this before?  Any advice or encouragement is GREATLY appreciated.

P.S. The dermatologist was able to stop by for a minute to prescribe me another ointment and I have a follow-up appointment scheduled in 2 weeks.

So I just got my first toy. (YAY) I went with a silicone vibrator, BUT I have no lube besides coconut oil, and I pretty much need to use lube to masturbate.
SO I looked on google and it seems as if there's mixed results. Some people say that coconut oil is totally safe, whereas others think they may be a chance of the toy breaking down.
So what you lovely people think? Safe or not?

STI testing

Bg info: 23 heterosexual female. I was tested last January for EVERYTHING, and it was all negative.

Basically, I'm just really freaked out right now, and I don't know where else to find rational info/ reassurance.

I've been with my current partner since July. (26 y/o heterosexual male). We used condoms for approximately the first month of our sexual relationship, then, for whatever reason, stopped. He did pressure me, but I didn't stand up for myself either... We haven't used them since.

This weekend I found out that he's had many more sexual partners than he originally told me, which kind of freaks me out, but what freaks me out more is our condom use. I feel like if he was sloppy with condom use with me, he was probably sloppy with other partners too. Neither one of us have any symptoms or issues, but I'm terrified. I tried to make an appointment to get tested this morning, and I literally started to have a panic attack and had to hang up the phone.

Thoughts/ advice? Anything to make me feel better is appreciated at this point. :(

So, I recently discovered that I have an ovarian cyst.  I got a bunch of info from the doctor and they told me about the different types, like functional cysts and dermoid cysts. The doctor told me that he was pretty sure I have a functional/follicular cyst.  However, since I am on birth control, I feel like it should be impossible that I could get that kind of cyst since being in the pill prevents ovulation from occuring.  I don't have PCOS or endometriosis, so I can't have any of those kinds of cysts... basically my question is how can you get an ovarian cyst while still being on birth control?  I hope this isn't a stupid question but I am genuinely curious.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS FOR EASING KIDNEY STONE PAIN?

If you don't, tell me your kidney stones stories so I'll feel less like cutting out my kidney and shoving it down the garbage disposal. Owie.

I know this isn't the typical post for here, but I wasn't sure what other community I was in that could really answer this question. Do you guys know any good viable resources, sites, and books on gender roles and how they affect men and women in society? Specifically how they perpetuate the ideas that men should bring in the bread and women should cook and clean etc. I was in argument with my brother today and now I want to form a well-researched opinion so he can't discount it because it's just emotional or whatever. I want facts to back up my opinion so he'll have to take it seriously.

Hello friends,

I recently bought a set of weighted vaginal balls, www.calexotics.com/p-20972-couture-collection-clipse-ii-balls.aspx these ones to be exact.

I bought them thinking that the purpose was to insert them and then actively use your kegel muscles to prevent them from being expelled throughout the day, as a type of kegel exercise. However I'm a little bit confused about this product. The balls are a decent size and although they have some weight to them, they aren't incredibly heavy or anything. At least not heavy enough for me to feel as though they are making a descent down my vaginal canal as time passes. When I insert them, they stay inside me very snugly and I never feel them trying to escape, even when I go to the bathroom. Therefore I feel as though they are really serving me no purpose in terms of muscular exercise. I have been told that I have a rather "tight" vaginal canal by several partners (I don't really like the use of the words tight/loose, I understand that this is due to muscular relaxation/contraction and not "stretching" of actual tissue, it's just what people have told me) so I feel like maybe these might work for others more than they work for me. Does anyone have any experience with weighted balls like this? I am wondering if maybe the design of this particular brand is no good, or if I am missing the point, or if I should be looking for heavier ones.

Any insight or experiences would be greatly appreciated...

Thanks!
