oh lord, i cannot even fathom how thankful i am for this community.

my body has been going through some incredibly weird 'changes' this past month or so. i have gone from having the worse uti of my entire life which could only be cured by me forcing myself to engage in sexual activity, to having a horrible week long yeast infection which had the exact cure as the uti, to being super 'tight', to now having the most worse pain on my vagina i have ever experienced. the thing is, it's not even in my vagina, it is more...around my vagina. it honestly feels as though someone punched me super hard, leaving a huge bruise on it. around the "lip" area (i am horrible with scientific names, i appologize) it hurts the most, but it literally hurts...everywhere. has anyone else experinced this, or know what it is? if so, what can i do to make it go away? i am definitely scheduling an appointment at planned parenthood this second, but in the mean time, what can i do? thanks so much.

A question just out of curiousity:
I know you're only supposed to leave a tampon in for no more than 8 hours, but I for one don't always follow that rule. I like to sleep a lot when I can and sometimes will leave mine in for up to 10 or 11 hours at a time. I know that's not good, but I fall victom to thinking I won't get TSS if I bend the rules and such. Anyway, I was wondering if any of you leave tampons in for longer than you're supposed to...?

okay, so i`ve been with my boyfriend for about 6 months. we have some pretty good sex, if i do say so. the only thing is i`m not sure if what i`m having is an orgasm or not? basically my body tenses, and i shake a bit. it feels pretty good, not mind blowing or anything. and after a few seconds is passes. sometimes if i stand up like a minute after i`m a bit dizzy. so, is this an orgasm?

Ok so , I've had this question lingering in my mind and a recent post made me finally ask it here. When I masturbate vaginally (fingers in vagina that is... as opposed to clitoral stimulation) I do get liquid , which , like most females , I thought was urine. So I tried peeing before I masturbated , still had it , figured it was most likely female ejaculation. I'm overly paranoid though and had to try it once more , after peeing , on the toilet , to check the color it was... well , it had a faint yellow color. Is this urine? I mean .. I had just peed and such , so it confused me since I had heard female ejaculation is clear and has no smell. Now I'm too embarassed to let my bf stimulate my g-spot for too long for fear that this liquid really is urine and that I'll pee on his bed...

I have a few problems that id like to know if any one else has,

first of all - its not really a problem of mine, by my good friend and some times sexual partner, you see he has a normal size penis but, he has a really tight forskin, and this kinda scares me because when its pulled back past the head of his penis it causes him pain! with isnt something we want. has any one ever come across this problem before?


Another thing is that i always get pimples on my breast and its really annoying and painfull if they are on bra line.
i also have often wondered if i have a lump in my breast of if there is ment to be a lump there where i touch like a milk duct or sumthing?

Hi all. I found this community through someone at bad_sex when I complained about a yeast infection I had. This post won't be about a yeast infection, though, so don't worry.

The problem is this: Ever since right before I started my period (at 16, which I know is late) I've had a bit of a constant discharge. Sometimes it's clear and odorless, which is when I don't worry about it, but sometimes it's thick, white and has a foul odor. I don't feel any vulvar or vaginal pain, but I know from just kinda feeling around in there that I have a thick coating of this discharge in my vagina at almost all times. I don't know what might cause it, considering I wash religiously and take care of myself. I don't want to douche because I've heard it wipes out the good bacteria along with the bad, but this is starting to become a really embarassing problem now that I'm sexually active.

Someone help me. I've had just about enough of this damn discharge.

Okay so simplistically put, stimulation of the clitoris results in a clitoral orgasm, and stimulation of the G spot reaults in a G spot orgasm.
What then is the result of no stimulation at all? Some women, including myself, are capable of this. Anyone have any ideas?

Stupid(?) question here...

I picked my NuvaRing up at the pharmacy this afternoon, and then proceeded to go to Target.

Well, everyone that has ever been to Target knows how you can get completely sucked in. An hour later, we left.. I got to the car and thought "oh crap.. The Ring is supposed to be refrigerated until you put it in" .. It had been sitting in the car that entire time. I don't know how hot it got in the car, but it was about 80 degrees outside today. Now, everything I've read in the pamphlet and online just say to not "store" it above 86degrees (fahrenheit) ..

So, my question is.. leaving it in the car, for an hour.. do you think it has any effect on the effectiveness of the ring? The last thing I want is to throw out another $25 and buying another, and I'm not even sure my insurance would cover me for another, so it would in reality, be $60 I really don't have .. but, the other last thing I want is to get pregnant..

any ideas? I immediately held it up against the air conditioner vent when we got the car started, and we came straight home and I put it in the fridge .. I was planning on putting it in tonight..

But if it's not going to do what it is supposed to do .. I don't know what to do! (short of calling my doctor, and I don't know that he'd know a thing about it, since he's just an internist...)

Common occurence?

I've noticed that once in a while, after I masturbate, I have blood on my fingers. I know it's not my period so I am guessing that I've either torn something or cut myself with my finger nails. I have somewhat long and somewhat sharp natural fingernails. Is this a common occurance or am I the only one? And I would also guess that to prevent this I would either have to cut my fingernails or get a toy. The toy I'm working on, the cutting of my nails...is not going to happen :)

Hey Ladies-

I have a question you ladies might help me with. Last time you were so great. I had some routine blood work and a urinalysis the other day and when I got my lab results back the white and red blood cell count were highly elevated in my urine. Now this is the third time in a row this has happened. The doctors have ruled out UTI's, YI's and BV's and are still "getting back to me". It doesn't burn when I pee, no discharge, no odor, nothing. So, although I am going back to the doctor do you ladies have any ideas for me on what it could be?

Edit: I forgot to mention that the past three times these tests have been done I was not menstruating, not even a tiny bit like the day before you full fledge start or like at the end when it tapers off.
