When to begin BC pills

vaginapaginaI recently gave birth via c-section on April 14. I've already got my prescription for birth control pills: Loestrin Fe. I know the doctor told me while I was still in the hospital when I should begin taking them but I don't remember. It's such a pain trying to get hold of him. His office is very busy. If I could avoid calling in I would prefer it.
So when should I start taking them?
