On the insurance thing, if you're within king county, you can go to the King County Public Health Clinic. It's a great clinic, and not seedy or anything. The doctors there are really great. It's sliding scale, and they dont' check your income. I was making $800 a month when i went there without insurance so my pills came to $30 for a 1 year supply (i was on orthocyclen)
My favorite thing about the clinic was they had pictures on the ceiling in the girly exam rooms. Good luck.
