You are not alone on this one. I constantly get ingrown hairs from shaving, and tiny red bumps as a result. Eventually, I discovered I had a miserable staph infection that traveled through my blood stream. Listen to how bizarre this is... I began getting pimples that looked like tiny bubbles all along the inside of my nose. I began getting huge welts all along my face, some a strange greenish color. The staph infection had traveled to my face and it looked like I had a strange contagious infection of what I imagine ebola might look like at the beginning. I didn't go to school for a while, horrified at what I saw in the mirror. I still have nightmares about it. The doctor was horrified, gave me strong medicine, and it never returned. However, I still have strange bubbles lining the inside of my nose (staph), continue to get ingrown hairs, and occassionally battle with the staph infection. So yeah, I feel your pain. However, there is a GREAT product out on the market. I buy it at a female oriented sex shop. It's called "Coochie" (great name, huh?). Anyway, it's a cream that you spread along sensitive areas when you shave. Leave it on for two minutes. Viola! No more red bumps! See if you can find it anywhere. The bottle looks outdated by about thirty years, but the stuff is great. Good luck!
