I'm a nurse who has inserted many a catheter and I can tell you urethras vary in size & placement a great deal. Ive seen some located in the vagina some right above some that look like a second clitoris some that are big and some it takes 5 nurses to find(poor girl)... But anyways. Seems odd she would swab there for a yeast infection. UTI I could see but I am no DR and do not work at a gyno office. I agree she should have warned you there was going to be penetration.
