Starting BC with fucked up parts

vaginapaginaI know this was kinda just asked the other day but I can't find the entry.
I just am going back on birth control now for regularity issues. I'm starting Loestrin 24 and I know you're supposed to take it the first day of your period (so says their website) but the problem is I'm up to having about two periods a month every month. So which time do I start it? Do I say fuck it, I'm not regular anyway and take it whenever, do I take it during whichever period comes first, or do I take it during the larger of the two if ones going to be larger than the other during this month? Its really a fucking pain in the ass and I'm anxious to get on this damn thing and hopefully get myself back on track.
