breast pain and ovulation?

vaginapaginaMy breasts hurt, as if I were experiencing PMS breast tenderness, only I'm not. They've felt this way for nearly a week and a half now. The start of pain coincided with my "supposed to ovulate" date, but I have PCOS, so I'm not sure if I actually did ovulate or not.
The questions are: is breast pain that occurs with ovulation common? Is it something that typically lasts for a while? Any suggestions on how to feel more comfortable until it subsides?
