Actually, concerns about the pill and breast cancer seem to be mostly unfounded as well, from what I've read. Have a look here http://www.goaskalice.columbia.edu/3571.html it's an article about the long-term effects of oral contraceptives, and it cites like 50 studies that have shown that HBC does not increase your risk of breast cancer. :)
