Metformin is just a pill you take three times a day, its $4.00 at walmart without insurance. They need to test your fasting insulin with it. If its just a FBS they don't always find it. Also, when I got my bw done, they said my insulin was just a little bit above normal, but if I was ttc, it was way above normal.
