Threesome w/ Oral Sex=Pregnancy Somehow?

This is going to sound a little odd, and probably outright paranoid, but...

This past weekend, I had a threesome in which a man gave our second loverboy a blowjob, then at least 5 minutes later (probably more) gave me light oral sex, mostly using hands and not tongue for penetration. Is it in ANY way possible for me to end up pregnant from this? (That happens to be my greatest fear in life, and I also happen to be underage, so, this could be some serious shit.)

My biology studies state logically no, because saliva is extremely acidic and he did wait quite enough time for it to kill the little spermies. We assume. And though the memories are slightly fuzzy, I'm fairly sure he did not even put his tongue back inside, just licked the general area. Please help me ocnquer my paranoia!

Okay :)

I took all you lady's wonderful advice and went and saw the doc about my UTI. I got a perscription (Not cipro) and some uristat. My Rx is called SMZ-TMP and I'm on it for 7 days. I know you're not supposed to have sex with an UTI (Who would WANT to?!) and I'm on birth control. (OTC) I've heard the medications both clash, and you have to wait a couple weeks after the meds are done before the birth control is effective again. Is this true?

alright.. this is gonna sound really stupid.. but i dont understand what spotting is. Can someone help me out?

i've looked around, but i havent seen anything telling me what it is

sorry :\

OK, WTF my boob is peeling. Peeling. Not like a dry-skin peel, like a sunburn peel, but I'm pretty sure I haven't sunburnt my boob anytime lately. Anyone ever experience this?

Protect women's rights: oppose John Roberts

[i think that, since roberts is unquestionably opposed to women's rights, this is VERY appropriate for vagpag. correct me if i'm wrong.]

Hello,

In the past weeks, Republicans and Democrats have called on President Bush to nominate a moderate for the Supreme Court –- someone who would honor the legacy of independent Justice Sandra Day O’Connor. But last night, President Bush nominated Judge John Roberts, a far-right lawyer and corporate lobbyist, to fill her post on the Supreme Court.

We’ve got to stop Roberts. He opposed clean air rules and worked to help coal companies strip-mine mountaintops. He worked with Ken Starr (yes, that Ken Starr), and tried to keep Congress from defending the Voting Rights Act. He wrote that Roe v. Wade should be “overruled,” and as a lawyer argued (and won) the case that stopped some doctors from even discussing abortion.

Join me in signing MoveOn’s petition to let our Senators know we expect them to oppose John Roberts right now at:

http://political.moveon.org/roberts

Thanks.

Uh...

Alright, help me out here. I have no idea how this works...

WARNING: This post should not be viewed by those who are sensitive to the subject of miscarriage. )

***EDIT*** Okay, it's been established that I should see a doctor, but could someone take a stab at my OTHER questions? =o)

spotting?

ok, so i've already posted the initial questionaire about being pregnant, and i took Ecp so maybe this is why i'm getting this funny spotting i've never had before? or don't remember getting?

this past week i've had quite a bit of white discharge end up in my panties, and i'm suppoused to get my period sometime this week? normally happens between like 18-25 give or take some? but i did end up taking ecp, and i've taken it in the past but don't remember this happening? but maybe that's because i took the recommened doesage of cryeslle 28 because i was unable to get down to planned parent hood. i know alot of girls can just feel that pregnant vibe in their body,b ut i don't think i am. my boobs don't hurt, and i always feel like i do before i get my period, but when i woke up a few minutes ago i didn't get the normal bright red rush of blood from first period it looks more like last day bright pink and that kinda scares me ;( i don't have any other pregnancy symptoms? except cramps, but those may be from my "period" and i've been kinda gassey even though i don't know what i could have eaten to cause this? any help would be much appreciated <3 thanks ladies

Monophasic BC and anti biotics.

Last month I had to take anti-biotics, took it with my monophasic BC pills, I had the worst (felt like 3 weeks) of paranoid PMS. So I was thinking.

If the BC pill has a lowered efficacy and you are using the condom why not stop the pill during the anti biotics, start the day after you finish (this is if it it a week or longer course) and have no break between packets and continue condoms for 7 days? Cause I don't think I would have had PMS of that level, cause my moods were all over the place and my hormone levels were liely up and down too.

Thoughts?

I was looking on google for different pill effects and I came across this site:

It's a great walkthrough when just starting. :) It's kind of putting my mind at ease.

I have a question about female condoms. :) And kind of pressure. Haha.

My boyfriend and I, whom I'm very much in love with, are planning on having sex sometime within the next year. He and I have talked about it and agree to me being on the pill. However, he doesn't want to wear a condom. He says because we're to be married after high school that it won't matter if I get pregnant.. (We do have the resources to provide a child a nice life, I just don't want kids before I'm 21!) I was wondering if I were to go on the pill (Which I'm planning on starting in November), and use a female condom, would he be able to feel it? I feel really bad for attempting to trick him, but gah! I don't want to risk having a baby any time soon.

[Edit:]
I love you all, very much. =) Reading these comments nad posts have taught me a lot, and are helping me keep an open relationship. Nyak. I just wish I would've been more open to honesty before even thinking about this. I really do need to talk to him.
I love you allllll. ♥

And I'm sorry for saying crotchlings? oo;

brazilian wax mess up?

Hi--
I went to go get a brazilian wax yesterday. (my first one)I really feel like I got fucked over. I grew my hair out, and on like, the stomach part of my pubic hair a few hairs didn't come out and the waxer said it was because they were resistant and would come out next time. She kept waxing them to see if they would come out but they didn't. She didnt make me get on my hands and knees or pull my legs up or anything--so I thought that was kind of weird. then when she was done I had to clean my own wax off and she told me to put some of this aloe vera on my waxed area--so I did and it burned!!! I looked at the back of the bottle and there was alcohol in it--what the fuck? Why would you put alcohol on an area that just got waxed? So when I got home I looked down there with a mirror and on the more-inner area and more lower area of where hair is there was A LOT of hair that had been missed. It was $35 to get it done and she didn't even get all the hair off--the reason I got it done is because I dont really like manuevering all over down there with a razor, I mean I can understand 5 small hairs that didnt quite come out--but this is like a whole area. Also, all day yesterday my cooch was red and it hurt really bad. I'm not a wuss or anything but it hurt so bad that even in the shower the water running over that area hurt to the point of me crying. I couldn't touch it and it hurt to pee. I tried to put lotion (unscented, uncolored) on it but it hurt wayyy too bad. The waxer said it would be red for a couple days which I was pretty sure was not normal--because how would bikini models get it waxed and go straight to a shoot? So I called back and I made an appt. for today for her to get the rest of the hair off because if I'm going to be in that much pain there better not be any hair on it! I was pretty pissed--it seems like anytime I go to a salon anywhere and pay for a service the colorist/stylist/waxist screws up and then I have to pitch a bitch and spend my time and gas to go back and get it fixed. She said it should last 3-4 weeks but it really doesnt seem like it because I'm not smooth all over, like if I run my finger with the grain it is smooth but if I run my finger against it i can feel bumps or something--its just not smooth. I'm so disappointed. After today I'll never go back there. It's a day spa that offers all sorts of services and is highly respected so I thought it was just ridiculous how bad my wax was. If the hair grows back in less than a week I'm going to go back and demand my money back because it should last at least 3-4 as she said. Oh, and the waxer told me it would be okay to go swimming or lay out in the sun afterwards, (which I didn't) but then when I called the secretary she told me not to go swimming or lay out in the sun or no hot showers and to lay with a bag of frozen peas on my cooch. Is it supposed to be this bad? I thought it was kind of ridiculous--I mean when you wax your eyebrows they're red for like, an hour maybe, and then they're smooth against and with the grain. Even getting my clit hood pierced wasn't this much of a hassle. If people respond and say that this is not appropriate is there anyone I can call, like the BBB or something?

Mini rant--I'm sick of going to salons and having this attitude from the workers. I always tell people exactly what I want and I never get it and then I always have to complain. If I say "just a quarter inch" I get like an inch off. If I say "heavy highlights" the highlights get left on too long and I end up with spots in my hair. I think its because most people are too afraid to complain so they leave the salon with a bad haircut or bad highlights. My advice is to complain if something isn't done right--you are paying for it and if you're still not satisfied tell everyone you know that it's a bad place to go to.
(Exception: Theres a difference between an actual bad haircut and something that you wanted and then just didn't like)

Call me insane...

But I had a lot of time on my hands waiting in the exam room for the gyn (about 1:30 to be exact), so I was reading all the posters on the walls and I saw this whole illustration of the vagina up close. And you know...it was actually kind of beautiful. Like those Georgia O'Keefe pictures of flowers (which people often say have an erotic symbolism to them because it does look like a vagina).

Anyone else ever felt like that?

(no subject)

i just got back from my yearly exam and i have to say that the gyn for University of Cincinnati's Women's Health Services rocks out. while she was prepping and asking me questions she actually quizzed me on when you should back up the pill! she seemed VERY impressed with the fact that i could tell her three of the four circumstances. also, she quizzed me on how and *when* do to a self breast exam. i like this lady. a lot. just fyi.

and a completely random question - am i just lucky or is it all that unusual that i'm 27 (almost) and i've never had a UTI or a yeast infection? any of you other ladies have that happen?

Hey guys. Hopefully posting this is appropriate.

For my summer school class, Speech, we have to give a persuasive speech. Some people gave theirs today. After on a girl's speech on adaption, she suggested having a "pro-life amendment to the constitution" and "getting rid of so many Planned Parenthoods," I've decided to change my topic from why vegetarianism is good to why abortion should be legal. My mom is really against me doing this speech and wants me to make sure it isn't offensive. I've done quite a bit of research and have some good information, but I was just wondering what you guys think the main points I should cover are... the main reasons why you believe abortion should be legal. I really want to get my point across in a tactful way, especially because there are so many conservatives where I live.

Thanks. :)

The last time I posted, I asked about how long it takes a cyst to go away. I'd found out from my gynecologist that I have a 3.7 cm cyst on my right ovary, and I'm to have another internal sonogram done once I'm back at school to make sure the cyst has indeed gone away.

I'm on birth control - Yasmin, and I have this question, I know it might be a bit stupid, but: If you're on birth control, do you ovulate? - If not, should you get cramps around the time you ovulate? (Since I had the internal done a few weeks ago, I still have been getting the constant cramps (24/7) of the same intensity that I did when I said I want to go to the gynecologist and find out what's wrong - hence the internal being done)

If there's no ovulating while on BC, I'm trying to attribute the constant cramping to something, wether it's the cyst still there, the cyst getting better, or even the cramping being due to the cyst going away.

Just trying to make sense of what's going on here.

Self-Treating External Yeast Infections?

I have a yeast infection. It's really very mild, but still itchy and annoying, and I'd like it to go away with speed so that a) it doesn't get worse and b) the boyfriend and I can resume our regularly scheduled nookie. I also want to self-treat, because, again, very mild and I've heard bad things about medication-resistant yeast, so I don't want to encourage that.

I went through the archives, I have yohgurt (plain with live cultures) and garlic. The only problem is that this yeast infection seems to be mostlyexternal, with the dry/itchy vulva, but not so much with the itchy vagina. And all the self-treatment advice I've found (on VP & google) is about insertion. Would those sorts of methods still work on mostly external yeast infections, or do I need to try something different?

Or am I completely stupid for even thinking that yeast infections can be external?

discharge during (non)fertile days

I have been on birth control for 4-5 years. my cycle is very predictable. I know i'm not ovulating, but during my green "fertile" days (according to cyclespage.com) i still get the white discharge. it's been like this as long as i can remember, with only recently (about a year or so) connecting it to my fertile days per the calendar.

now, i always thought that i was still going through the process, though not actually releasing the egg. (i think i'm wrong, now.) google is only telling me that BC pills are stopping ovulation and you may experience discharge. but this discharge is ALWAYS on my green fertile days.

So i'm asking if there's a connection, since i am on BC and it would be normal if i wasn't.

part two:
i use the nuva ring for 4 weeks at time and this month i had this discharge twice. i only noticed because i thought the process was happening earlier than usual, but today i noticed it happening again (my green days start today). there's nothing odd about it besides that, so i don't believe it to be anything worrisome. I asked if this "fake ovulation" thingy happens twice in a month when you do it for 4 weeks but am learning that maybe i'm alone in my BC fertility discharge.

any thoughts?

what is everyones sexual preference here (if you are comfortable with sharing) ?

im bisexual and have been for as long as i can remember..i just didnt know what to call it. i had maaajor crushes on girls ever since i was a kid..but i didnt like boys until i was 1 year into high school.

ive been wondering about this for awhile now...do straight women fantacize about other women when they mastubate, etc.? does the thought of another female ever turn on straight females? or does that make them not straight? i hate labeling sexuality..but do people that call themselves "straight" really not think about the same-sex?

Dear Erida,
Why did you have to pick today, of all days, to start bleeding? Not only are you a week early, but you picked the day I got my shots - which happened to make me sick. You have given me backaches for a whole week, which you've never done before and it feels like someone punched me in the boobs, gee, thanks. I'm hoping this isn't a sign of our future together. I'm very unhappy with you, but I hope some chocolate will calm you down.
Lovingly,
Ali

Btw, has anyone ever had shots make their period start earlier? I got my Hepatitis B & Tetnus/Depitheria/something else shots today and then, woosh, I'm riding the crimson wave. Maybe my body just doesn't like me. Haha
Thanks. <33

blood clot scares

there has been some posting about blood clot issues with the patch that have been in the news recently.

i just went to the gyno a few days ago. She spoke to me about this. Her thoughts were that until they have solid proof about an increase chance of blood clots on the patch, all of this information is kind of nebulous.
It has always been a thing for the news/drug companies to be like 'oo, the patch, look, blood clots' like it's something new and different. It can happen on the pill too, or any hormonal bc (not progestoeron only though, i believe).
My dr and i both felt that my risk is so low (i do not have problems with blood clot/heart problems/i do not smoke) that until they have definite proof and more research behind this study, I should not be concerned continuing on the patch.

It's one of those things they are still studying. They don't really know, they just want to warn the public incase someone with a highly increased risk is on the patch.

just felt like sharing my 2 cents.

Stretch Marks & Breast Lifts

Hi, this isn't related to my pink pocket, but to my breasts.

I'm 29 and I recently lost 40 lbs rather quickly.
My plump, full 38C breasts have become lifeless, empty-looking 34B's.
(Not that there is anything at all wrong with 34B, it's just that mine are less than perky now! It's like they are empty or something ;( )

I am starting to notice stretch marks on my breasts, and this upsets me. I am noticing faint marks on my bottom as well, but that doesn't upset me as much as my tits.

I got something called "Dermarest" but I'm not sure it will even make a difference.

Anyone have ANY advice? I am considering a breast lift but this won't do anything about the texture of the skin, as far as I understand.

Thanks in advance.
Amy

Hello everyone. I'm on my second week of Mircette BC, and my stomach hurts like I am having period cramps. However, there's no spotting or anything, just the pain. Ibuprofen doesn't work against it, nothing seems to, and I've tried taking it with food but it doesn't help. They aren't major pains, more like intermittent annoyances. In any case, is this just my uterus getting used to its thinner lining, or what? Can I expect the pain to go away, or should I switch prescriptions?

Thanks!

Question

Does anyone else get turned on by gay man porn? I do, and I'm not sure if it's because I was raised in a neighborhood full of gay men and just accept it, or what, but the idea of straight porn is gross to me. I've never watched it, but I think I could go for girl/girl porn as well. I guess I've always felt like because I want to have sex with men, watching another woman do that is just weird (for me, not for anyone else...not trying to pass judgment!).

Hi, dolls. I posted this a few days ago:

cramps and nausea and random bleeding, oh my!
I'm on Ovcon 35. I'm at the start of my 3rd active week. This is my first month, and my first time on BC. I don't know if this is relevant, but before I started BC, I only had a period 2-4 times a year.

2 days ago, I started bleeding. It's not breakthrough bleeding, from what I can tell. It's more like a normal period, and progressively getting heavier. Also, there are random starts and stops. Along with this comes the worst cramps I've ever experienced. They're not doubled-over-in-pain bad, but they're bad enough. See also: Fatigue. See also: Nausea.

Any ideas on what could be the problem, ladies?

I was told it was probably just breakthrough bleeding. The problem, is...it's gotten A LOT heavier. I woke up this morning having saturated a super tampon and ruined my favorite undies. The cramps and fatigue are still rearing their ugly heads. The cramps are getting really super bad. I'd rather not see anyone unless I absolutely have to, being that I'm staying with my boy in RI for the remainder of the summer, and  his car's in the shop, it'd just be a huge inconvienence. Any insight?

Seasonale

Sorry if any of this has been posted before - I have a raging headache and little time to look through the archives, but I'll delete it if necessary.

Anyway, after a looong six months of suffering menstrual migraines [we're talking the kind that leave me sprawled across the sofa for four days on end] and really horrible cramping, my doctor [two doctors, in fact] and a neurologist have all told me that going on Seasonale would be one of my best options. They've all said that they've seen Seasonale make vast improvements in a lot of girls [I'm 16, if it matters] who have migraines and really bad cramping with their cycles, because BC in general decreases the intensity of the symptoms and, obviously, if you lessen the number of periods you have in a year, you lessen the chances for the symptoms to really surface anyway. I of course despise my period because it gives me such hell all the time and would love to have as few as possible, but I know that everything has its downsides. If I don't go on Seasonale, I'm still going to go on some sort of monthly-cycle BC, and so mainly I'm just wondering how they weigh out against each other. I'd also like to know how those of you that use/have used Seasonale liked it. ALSO, I know with Seasonale there's a bigger chance of breakthrough bleeding and all that hoohah, so I'm wondering how often/heavy/etc. that bleeding is, generally.

Bahhh thank you in advance. :)

for all you OrthoEvra users out there.. I have a question.

I'm not sure if this is where I would post a question like this... but we'll see how it goes.

I have been on the patch, OrthoEvra, for a little over 2 years now, and have had no problems what so ever with the patch. I love the fact that I haven't gained/lost any weight on the patch (which I did on the pill), I don't have killer cramps like I did when I was on the pill and my periods are right on track, because they def. weren't when I was on the pill.

Recently, within the past few months, I've been having some break through bleeding the 2nd week after my period. It's dark brown, like old blood.. and my gyno told me that if it kept happening to make sure that I made an appt. to get looked at because that's not normal. The past few months, it normally only happens the first day or two after I put my 2nd patch on, but this month it happend the entire 2nd week. Has this happened to anyone else using the patch? I made an appt. to get looked at next month to make sure that there isn't anything else going on which would cause the break through bleeding. If this has happened to you, did your gyno put you on a different form of BC?

Thanks in advance :)

True or false?

A very large majority of girls can not experience orgasm from vaginal penetration by a penis only.

bleeding question

what are some possible reasons why i might be bleeding when i only had my period a couple of weeks ago? in fact, i'm pretty sure i'm ovulating, so this intermittent bleeding is really weird to me. it's not heavy or anything, really dark and flaky and weird. i don't think i'm pregnant (always use protection)...could it be stress related?

i took plan b a couple of months ago...is there any way that could still be in my system?

sunburns (totally off topic)

I'm sorry, but this is blatantly really off-topic. I just didn't know of any other medical-related communities in which I'd get a good, trustworthy and prompt answer.

about sunburns... )

not exactly a vagina question but...

i didn't know where else to ask it.

i've heard of a diet where you drink/eat nothing but pure cranberry juice for a few days. does anyone know anything about this? it's supposed to flush out your body or something and help you lose weight. if you know anything, please comment!

thanks!

lubricants affecting sperm

Hello. First post to you lovely people. I have two questions which I can't find answers to on Google (except contradictory ones).

1 - I stopped taking the pill (Femodene) mid-May. I haven't had a period since. So far not too surprising, but after how long should one be concerned about periods not starting again? Three months? Six? A year?
I had a negative pregnancy test last week, not underweight, age 30, was on pill for 15 years.

2 - Lubricants. I knew that lube is usually not a spermicide. Every bottle explains that it is not a contraceptive. Seeing as I actually do want to get pregnant, this is fine by me. However, I read the blurb on the side of mine the other day and it also says "This is not a spermicide. However it can kill sperm. Do not use if you wish to become pregnant."

Just as well I saw that before trying for a year or two, eh? So my question is do other brands of lubricant also kill sperm? The others I have around just say 'this is not a contraceptive' and I have no idea what ingredients might be a problem. Anyone know anything about this?

Hey!
I just have a few questions!

I heard that having cramping after sex or orgasms is normal. I do get that and I assumed because I heard it was normal it was nothing to worry about. But when I use my vibrator and I orgasm, I feel as if there are tiny little shocks on my clit. Kind of like when you get a shock by touching metal or plastic, but without the pain. Just the feeling. It doesn't last long but I'm just wondering if that's something to be concerned about.

And is there a way to hurt my clit by using my vibrator too often? Is there really too much vibrator usage?

Sorry if these are dumb but yeah I'm really wondering.
