Vaginal Orgasms versus Clitoral Orgasms

Question: How many of you have vaginal orgasms from intercourse?

I've been wondering how prevalent orgasms during intercourse are. I've always thought vaginal orgasms weren't very common, that women mainly orgasm from clitoral stimulation. If I orgasm, either during PIV, oral, or masturbation, it is because there is some clitoral stimulation.

Honestly it took me years to even experience a vaginal orgasm. Even with my hubby I get them from time to time.

The usual stat given is that 70% or more of women need direct clitoral stimulation to orgasm. In any case, we can be pretty certain that the majority of women cannot orgasm from vaginal penetration alone, and that it is, in a totally objective sense, the norm to need some kind of clitoral attention.

I'm an abnormality, and come from vaginal intercourse alone - but then, I can also come from anal or nipple stimulation alone, and have multiple orgasms. I'm kind of a sexual rarity in a lot of ways, and I try to impress that upon any lovers, especially inexperienced ones, so they don't take away the misconception that all women experience pleasure in the same way that I do.

I'm a bit like the previous poster in that I can come from vaginal, or nipple stimulation alone. I also have multiple orgasms - but, I should say, some are bigger than others. Like I can have lots and lots of little ones, but if I get a huge one I won't be able to come again. And, the bigger orgasms tend to be inclusive of clitoral stimulation - often, if I've had several smaller ones from vaginal stimulation I'll "need" a clitoral one. The pressure of my orgasms builds up in my clitoris and it'll need releasing, basically.

I orgasm from clitoral stimulation, vaginal intercourse, clitoral stimulation + vaginal intercourse, clitoral + anal stimulation, vaginal + anal, and all three combined. I probably orgasm around 80-85% of the time my boyfriend and I have sex. I just happen to be wired that way. However, oral sex is kind of hit and miss despite my boyfriend always using the same technique. Sometimes it's totally awesome, other times it's 100% meh and does nothing for me besides feeling vaguely pleasant. When I masturbate I do it clitorally 95% of the time, though occasionally get a little wilder and go for vaginal or anal play at the same time. It just doesn't feel as good when I do it to myself, as opposed to a penis doing it.

I know I'm not a very common example, and wish more men knew that, for the sake of my fellow women!

I only orgasm clitorally, usually from masturbation or oral sex but I use to come during penetration from clitoral stimulation. Lately I've been wondering if I do occasionally have vaginal orgasms and haven't recognized them as such.

With my first partner, I orgasmed from vaginal intercourse pretty much every time. With my current partner, I almost always have to stimulate my clit in order to come... but I also have more multiple orgasms that way.

I do wish I could orgasm vaginally with my current partner more often, but I honestly think that the size/shape of his penis (pretty big, sticks pretty much straight out with no curve, compared with my ex, who had an average-sized penis with an upward, g-spot-hitting curve) doesn't help me there :P

i'm one of the few ladies out there who's clitoris doesn't seem to do anything. any type of pleasure i get is from fingering or intercourse. it actually happened quite fast, i lost my virginity little over a year ago and was able to orgasm about six months afterward. my boyfriend and i found a certain position though. having my clitoris rubbed feels like a relaxing massage down there.

I don't think I've ever had an orgasm from penetration alone. For the first year of having sex I could only orgasm from clitoral stimulation. But now I orgasm during intercourse about 99% of the time from a combo of clitoral and vaginal stimulation. I'm not really sure what changed. I think I just got more comfortable with saying what I want.
