kind of embarassing anus related question

so, i've suspected that i have a one or two small hemroids for awhile now. i never went to the doctor reguarding it because i just don't feel comfortable with that for what ever reason. i may ask at my next OBGY appnt though.as long as i eat enough fiber, drink enough water and have regular BMs they only become occasionally irriated. pretty much, i have no pain and think i've self managed w/e the problem is effectively.

my real question is reguarding the appearance of my anus. basically, it's not cute. nothing like what i see in any kind of adult video. there are a few small like skin tag type things that kinda protrude (maybe hemroid related, idk) and it doesn't have a very "smooth appearance" i guess you could say. kinda like there's some loose-ish skin around the opening.

i wasn't even aware of this until i looked at myself down there in a mirror, i find it kinda unsettling having never considered the appearance of my anus before.

anyone else know what the heck im talking about or have the same problem? if it's even a problem, i just feel like a sexual partner would find it weird or abnormal.

Don't let porn be the judge of what's normal or not. There is usually a great deal of artiface to make bodies look like what they look. I cannot imagine anyone criticizing that part of your bod, I wouldn't really worry about the appearance. However, if you think that there is a medical issue, then I would definitely talk to your doctor.

I once watched a program on E - I think it was that Dr 90210, or something like that - and it featured a porn actress going to get her anus/the skin around it bleached, to make it "appear better" on camera.

What I'm saying is I agree with the other commenter, don't judge your body/"normal" by what you see on porn!

I have the same issue, btw. None of my partners have ever complained. :)

It sounds like small, soft external hemorrhoids. Trust me, very few women have a flat, tight anus like in porn films (sorry for getting graphic, but that's what your talking about). Your appearance is perfectly normal. Keep your stools soft with fiber and that will help prevent them from flaring up. In other words, keep doing what your doing and you will be fine.

I have piles, which have inflated and deflated over the years, and have thus left skin tags. I've never had a partner comment (and I've had a fair few) and I doubt even most of them notice.

i had to have surgery to correct some horrid nonhealing anal fissures, and now it looks like I have a little notch cut out of mine. well, it looks that way because that is literally what the surgeon did. I had never even thought to look at it after the surgery and my husband mentioned it one night. I was all self-concious about it at first, but now i think it gives my bum character. haha.
if someone told me it was abnormal or ugly or weird or anything like that, they would never, EVER be seeing it (or the rest of me) again.

and by the way..
i really dont think a partner of yours would care. they probably wont even notice them unless theyve been pointed out.
