armpit/girlbits connection?

60mph inspired an odd question.

occasionally, i'll get a weird, sharp, slightly painful twangy feeling in my armpit, and i'll get an echo of that sensation in my girlbits (random locations, but always in the girlbits).

i wonder if there's a connection to these two areas, and if anyone else has noticed a similar connection?

when something touches the inside of my arm near my elbow i have a stabbing pain in my girly bits. its weird.

haha...part of the reason i made this post was to find other like-bodied people. it's so weird when it happens, and it doesn't happen to my mom so i always got called an oddball for it when i was a kid.

from the experience i have in interviewing plenty of women i know personally, it seems to be this is an uncommon thing. methinks those of us who DO have this occur are in a slightly smaller group.

Probably has something to do with the location of any lymph nodes? Been a while since I reviewed my bio papers, but I'm pretty sure there are concentrations of them in your armpits, and since it runs all throughout your body, I'm sure there are some in your girly-bits too.

Wish I could provide a hypothesis for the pain itself, though. :\ Sometimes I get random pains in my body and it's nothing to worry about, so I wouldn't be concerned.

Ah-hah! I think I was right!

Becasue Lymph Nodes are imbedded deeply in connective tissue, they are rarly seen. However, lymph nodes are found in larger clusters in the axillary (arm pit area), inguinal (pubic region), and cervical regions of the body.

It's likely because the feet are right next to the genitals in the sensory cortex in the brain. There's often overlap between the two areas. =)

well, it's fairly significant. I figured it out one time when my boyfriend was kind of trying to tickle me (I'm usually very ticklish) but it didn't bother me while we were having sex.

Huh! I have an elbow/back connection, myself. I think some of my nerves don't go where they think they go. (E.g., if I scratch my elbow just right, it hits my back in a funny sharp feeling.)

i have the belly button/clitoris connection too! haha i find it very amusing actually, but it hurts both parts when my belly button is touched so i always make my boyfriend stay away!

anyway to the OP... certain nerves actually cross in the spinal column which is why sometimes if you have pain in a certain area, you can feel a hint of it somewhere else. This is the reason that a symptom of heart attack is upper arm pain because those nerves cross in the spinal column. of course , the armpit/girly bits connection probably has something to do with other things like lymph nodes like previous commenters suggested too! i get it a lot of times when i get scared or really nervous or when i laugh or get excited! haha so basically every time i experience an sudden excess of any emotion i get it! i have a bunch of connections though apparently because basically any time i have a sharp pain somewhere i can feel it somewhere else and any time i've ever told anyone about it they acted like i was nuts! so i assumed my wiring was just super crossed everywhere and it wasn't too common!

Definitely agree, the belly-button clitoris thing is really uncomfortable.

I also have a wierd thing that happens to my feet when I look down from any height, my feet burn. It's like when you stretch your hamstrings but you are standing completly still.

I have the belly button - vagina thing.

But I've noticed strange nerve connections all over my body since I was a little kid. Usually it's if I scratch something on my head, or arm, or leg, a tiny point on my back tingles. And I can repeat the scratch, and the same point will tingle.

The body is an amazing thing.
