Looking For Lube
I'm looking for a lube that A) does what it's supposed to do (lubricate of course), B) doesn't dry sticky, C) doesn't leave a bitter taste (doesn't have to be flavoured, just not nasty tasting), and D) doesn't stain blankets. So far the only kind I've found that I like is Wet Platinum, but I can only find sample sizes. So, do any of you have suggestions on a good lube?
Also, what is your favourite kind and why?

Eros silicone lube, because it is light, slippery, and doesn't dry out or get sticky. This is more expensive, but lasts a very, very long time. You only need a couple of drops.
My other favorite (that I use when silicone toys will be involved, since silicone toys and silicone lube can't be used together without risk of damaging the toy) is Sensua Organics water-based lube. It is the only water-based lube I've used that stays slippery as well as this one does. It comes in unscented, raspberry, and peach (and unlike other flavored lubes, there's nothing irritating in these - and they have grapefruit seed extract to help keep the yeasties and other infections away). I find this one at my local co-op, but you can order it online as well.
For Eros, buying it through blowfish.com was cheapest last I checked. Sensua Organics has a website you can purchase lube through.
Hope this helps! :)

It might now be available in pharmacies or whatnot in the US.

I like Good Vibe's cream lube. It stays wet for a good amount of time, and just gets absorbed. Flavour-wise, it's slightly sweet-- doesn't taste like candy, but there is a little sweetness to it.

Vaginal and anal tested and approved.

It's light and feels similar to astroglide, but has no glycerin or other irritating ingredients, and has vitamin E and aloe (yay). It's marketed as a "moisture enhancing" vaginal moisturizer to be used externally and for postmenopausal women during intercourse, but as a 19 year old with an angry hooch, I find it's moisturizing properties feel very good, plus it's economical because reactivation due your own lube keeps it going a good long time. Plus, it's relatively cheap! :)

If you like Wet Platinum, you might also be interested in looking at ID Millenium (http://www.walgreens.com/store/product.jsp?CATID=100269&navAction=jump&navCount=17&id=prod1068466). It's also a silicone lube, and it's sometimes available at drugstores.
Or, if you're looking for some water-based ones, you might want to check out brands without glycerin (http://www.vaginapagina.com/index.php?title=Lubrication#Glycerin). :)

The silicone lube somehow bonds with the solid silicone of the toy and "melts" it. I actually tried this with a silicone vibe I had that broke. The result is that after about an hour of contact with the lube, the silicone of the toy ended up feeling gummy and sticky (even after the lube was washed off). If I rubbed the toy, I could see little tiny pieces of silicone roll off. (Imagine sunburned skin peeling off; that's kind of what it looked like.)
I've heard anecdotally that the exact reaction can depend on just how much silicone is in the vibe and just how much is in the lube, but... as someone who has and likes her silicone toys, I wouldn't risk trying it out.
Again, silicone lube plus latex toys are fine. :)
