Creepy Crawlies?
Hi guys,
I know this is a weird question, but both last month and this month, I've gotten the "creepy crawlies" all over my skin in the weeks between ovulation and menstruation. It's a totally strange feeling, and I've never really dealt with this before. Just wondering if any of you have had that same feeling before related to your cycle? It's not exactly itchiness, but rather the feeling that there are bugs crawling on my skin (and no, I'm not a drug user -- this is apparently a side effect that meth users deal with). I read that a lot of perimenopausal women go through this, but I'm only 26, so I don't think perimenopause is my problem.
Can anyone relate?
Thanks!

Really though, if you have no mental health issues, my guess would be some kind of nutritional deficiency related to your cycle. From my understanding things like...umm...low iron? Or potassium...sodium... I dunno, I'm too tired to google.. but anyway, it can cause "creepy-crawlies" like that. I wonder if it's a symptom of anemia?

I recommend you go for a blood test to check your estrogen, DHEA, etc. Don't be scared, though. It'll go away. :)
