Old Blood, No New Period...

Okay, it's been a while. Hello. :)

The last two or three days I've had an increasing amount of old blood (brown discharge) coming out, and I'm about due for my period. I think this can happen if someone is stressed or something else changes and they don't realize it (this happened about a year ago), but I wanted to check. The reason is on Saturday I was with a boy and while his penis head did come near my vagina, he hadn't ejaculated at the time and he never penetrated, so other places assured me there was little/no chance of me being pregnant with that little contact, if any sperm had been in any precum.

So, wonderful ladies, is this discharge just a result of my life (stress because of school and testing, very little sleep), or should I be worried? I think I know the answer, but I would like to be sure. Thanks. :)

EDIT: Thank you ladies. :)

I almost wish I hadn't asked because my regular period, complete with cramps, began about halfway through my school day and I had no Midol on me, and the school won't even give anyone a Tylonol...oh, well. I should be fine now!
Thanks again. :)

Its most likely due to stress. :)

*nod* I have the occasional "dark brown, old yuck" period as well. Sometimes it gets a few streaks of proper red, toward the end.

I have had brownish a day before regular blood before, I don't worry about it, just try to take care of myself :)

Don't worry love. It's normal. I get that EVEYTIME the day or so before my actual period. Happens in the end sometimes too. You're normal, that's what it means.
