bleeding because of sex?

Okay, so I'm really confused. I'm not on my period, and it shouldn't be starting for another two weeks. Saturday night I had sex, and afterwards we realized that I'd started to bleed while he was in me (there was nothing on his fingers).. And it was a LOT. I wouldn't really care much, but the weird thing about it is that it stopped right afterwards, and I haven't seen a single drop since.

I'm not really sure what exactly my question is.. I guess I'm just looking for an explaination? Thanks to anyone who can help me out

Cervical erosion can cause bleeding during sex. It's common in young women, women on the pill and pregnant women - it's an inflamed area on the surface of the cervix, and often isn't serious and can go away by itself, but you're better off getting it checked by a doctor, as sometimes it requires treatment - and I could be wrong.

Cervical polyp, maybe. They sometimes "just happen," though usually to women who have had at least once child.

if you are on birth control it is VERY common to have bleeding after sex. Your vaginal lining is less stable with some pills. Vaginal and Uterine contractions, plus a little cervix bumping during sex can "shake" lining loose.

this happened to me about a month ago and i was really worried too.
mainly because my bf was freaking out about me going to the doctors to get it checked out.

but. it hasn't happened since, so i've assumed i'm in the clear.
was it a little rougher than normal?
If you're really worried, go get it checked out? =]
