my period will not stop.
I am not taking any pills whatsoever. My period started kinda late ( a little over a week), but has been going for about ten days.
any clue on what I can do to make this stop?

I don't know how to make it stop, but when I was just starting to have periods, I got one that lasted about 10 days, and went away on its own.

Ever after that one, I got cramps, when I hadn't before. O:( I hope that doesn't happen to you!

Wait it out a little longer. Sometimes hormones get a little weird and make things go a bit longer than you're used to. If it goes longer than 3 weeks, talk to your doctor and get an exam, or if it is extremely heavy.

You should go to the doctor and get checked out because if you bleed too much you may loose a lot of iron and become anemic. Back in 8th grade my period didn't went for 25 days. I was away at Field Hockey camp the doctor there told me it would end but it didn't so I went home to my doctor and she ended up prescribing me birth control pills to make it stop. Like the first night I had to take 4, the 2nd night 3, the third 2, and the one a night until the pack was gone. That made it stop and then she put me on the pill after that to regulate it so it wouldn't happen again since I lost a lot of blood. Hope that helps. But the basic idea is just go get that checked out so nothing else happens to you.

i had a 47 day period that started in nov of last year. it was hooooooorrrrrrrrrrid and they still dont know why. they found some cysts on my ovary and are blaming it on that.

totally weird though, my iron levels never went down and i'm a vegetarian!
