bra size

this may sound like a stupid question, but im rather confused.
the numbers in a bra size is the band and the letter is the cup. so logically thinking, it would seem that the first hook on say a 32b would be the same as the last hook on a 34b. am i missing something here?

Do you shop at Lane Bryant? That's where I work, and we carry a pretty decent selection of bras in your size.

Hmmm. I hadn't considered it as a possibility for bras before, since I don't shop there for regular clothing. I'm still very much liking my Lunaire (http://prettier.com/) bras, but I'll have to hit up the Lane Bryant next time I go to the mall. :)
