(no subject)

so, i usually get minor cramps and whatnot around the time i ovulate( aka Mittelschmerz, and i'm used to that, but lately my cramps have been lasting longer. Now it lasts till i start my period sometimes!
it's not horrible, but it gets pretty irritating.

I can't see a doctor until fall, so i was hoping i could get some info on similar feelings from you all. I'm tempted to go on BC just to stop the ovulation pain!!!

I had a roommate that had ovarian cysts, so i'm worried (although i don't think that could be the case, right?)

Well it depends on the severity of your cramps. If they just happen around that time and you can still function properly during the day, then you are completely normal. There is nothing wrong about it, it just stinks!

If you are ill and cannot go to work or even walk, then you may have a problem worth checking out. Until that happens, all you are experiencing are regular menstrual cramps. Yeah, sometimes they hurt and you just want to rip your ovaries out but they go away. I usually take Advil to ease the cramps and they go away within minutes. Have you tried any medication? If you do, I would stick to advil because it's a muscle relaxer.

My ovarian cyst only ever caused pain during sex, never cramps.
