I was just curious what you all thought about the likliness of precum getting a woman pregnant... My boyfriend and I used it many times in the past and I never had a scare ( dumb I know ) but I really dont think the amount of precum could do it, I really beleive you need the full ejaculate... Does anyone know of anyone getting pregnant from precum ONLY?? This interests me ( I know I'm weird, lol )

Agreed...But in all honesty, i think you will be fine... Think of it this way, in order to get pregnant, so many things have to be exactly right ( You have to be ovulating, you have to have the right type of discharge, because if it is too thick the sperm cannot swin in that type of environment, and if he didnt fully cum inside you, then I beleive you would be pretty safe )

Exactly, I'm totally rationalizing it like that because otherwise I'll freak myself the crap out.

I just try to think about all these couples who are TRYING to get pregnant and it takes months. And that's doing everything right, you know?

Isn't it something like there's only an 8 hour period where everything is just right in your body for fertilization? I thought I'd heard that somewhere before.

The only thing I don't like is the whole 'sperm can live inside of you for upwards of a week'. That's not cool, lol. But like you said, discharge and all of that has to be just right, too.

I hear ya..i been there plenty of times :P It's funny you mentioned about couples trying and doing everything right...Because I always had that thought. They say it is actually hard to get pregnant, it's amazing so many babies are born!

I just recently had a little scare because my period was late after my bf and I using this method, a word of advice : Try not to stress too much, it will only delay your period..I was 3 weeks late!

And alot of studies say sperm isnt even found in precum, so KIT and let me know how ya make out :) Are you late or anything?

I had a scare last month too, totally know how that stressing can make your period late. My boyfriend and I literally did a dance of joy when mine came and it was only about 3 days late.

The only concern I have is that Saturday night we did it after he'd ejaculated once already, so I'm concerned about the precum pushing out the sperm. I'm pretty sure I wasn't ovulating so I'm not too terribly concerned. I won't be late for another few weeks, so we shall see, lol.

It's so refreshing to talk to someone who's been there before and understands. ♥

It is great to talk to people who have had similar situations..where were you a few weeks ago??? ;0) And you can alway take a HPT if your period is late by a day...so that could give you piece of mind!

Haha seriously! Trust me I was doing my own freaking out about this time a month ago. We could've freaked out together.

HAHA you do! Plus there was the whole issue with my parents at my house and his roommates at his. So we just went to the back and took it. Longest 3 minutes of my life!

And yes I was horrified to look at the result too. And I actually read it wrong at first, thinking one line meant yes, you're pregnant, and had a slight panic attack before I realized I was looking at it wrong, LOL.

Grrr, i had the same problem..everytime i went to use the bathroom, someone had to go, so i kept getting interrupted from taking the test.

OMG!! I bet you were going nuts!!

How about those new tests where they actually spell out pregnant/ not pregnant.... Have you seen them?

Oh man I have seen those. I've heard they're not quite as accurate though? Or there are more false readings with those...which I guess is basically the same thing. But yeah. Definitely less confusing that one line/two lines.
