Hey Girls! I was just wondering about your thoughts/ opinions about mastubation during your period.... Is it safe..do you notice any change in your flow? For some reason I am really horny this month and was curiuos about all your experiences with it? I love this community!!

When I'm having really bad cramps, an orgasm can help relax my muscles and make the cramps less intense. However, I've had a few times when I wasn't experiencing any cramps at all, and then I orgamsed and that brought the cramps on. It's weird, but it always makes me weigh the pros and cons before I start masturbating on my period.

Like others, I generally use clitoral stimulation only because it's less messy that way. I've never noticed a change in flow because of this. On occasion, I do use a vibrator for penetration while on my period. It is, as some have mentioned, a bit messy, so I generally do this only near the end of my period. (I have a really heavy flow for most of my period, so this might be a bigger issue for me than for most other people.) I haven't had any problems with vibe penetration while on my period, either; no noticeable flow changes, etc.
I don't experience cramp relief from it, sadly, though it doesn't seem to make them any worse. And I just feel happier after orgasm, so I'm maybe better prepared to cope with them. And with life. ;)

I have no clue if this is true or not, but you know, why question it? ;)
