Gynecologist in ottawa

I checked the gynecologist directory, but I didn't see any for ottawa, canada. I'm just in the city for the summer, but been having a few frustrations with my vagina and would like to have it checked out. Hopefully someone on here is from the same area.

Thanks in advance.

There is a huge sexual health clinic downtown on Clarence street. I'm not sure of the exact address but I know they're amazing.

you pretty much have to be referred by a family doctor to a gyno. and then you get to wait months for an appointment.

In Canada, you would generally not see a gynecologist unless you have a referral from a general practitioner (family doctor) due to concerns that go beyond the scope of what a GP can deal with... things like PCOS, endometriosis, fertility issues, or other things.

For routine paps and pelvics, yeast infections, bacterial vaginosis, and most other uncomplicated vagina treatments, you would go to a GP (I've had lots of success going to a walk-in as well to get treatments for those things).

There's usually a number of women's health or public health clinics in most cities that will do those things as well. But in general, you would not call a gyno directly, as most will not see you without a referral.
