bleed damn you! *yells at uterus*

Is it normal for your period to show up on different days of your sugar pill week? I normally get mine Tuesday or Wednesday morning (I’ve been on the pill for about 3 months and it’s been regular the whole time) and I have yet to even see spotting or hints that my period is on its way. I have no cramps or anything and I’m having a bit of a pregnancy scare right now and it’s giving me an ulcer. I just wish I’d fricking bleed already and put my mind at ease. I fear I may just keel over and die if it doesn't get here soon and buying a pregnancy test will make me die faster.

Any ideas?

*EDIT*

screw it. i'm going to buy a pregnancy test right now. i can't take it any more!

EDIT!!!!!!

NOT PREGNANT *dances*

stressing out can only delay your period longer.
I've skipped periods before because of stress.

Try to relax (maybe a bubble bath)!

I don't have any solutions for you, but I'm going through the exact thing right now. I'm hitting up the drugstore on the way home from work. *hug* Try to relax. I've been listening to crazy medieval music all morning. It's not helping much, but every little bit helps.

I get that sometimes. Sometimes I'll get it Tuesday night, Wednesday night, Thursday morning, Wednesday afternoon. I always get mine around Wednesday but it's never the same. Ya the only thing I could recommend is either
a) go out and take your mind off of it
b) buy a preg test and get relief

That happens to me all the time. It depends if I've missed pills and which pills I missed, or just random things my body does.

Yes, it is completly normal. Freaked me out the first few times too, but if you've been taking your pills correctly there is no reason to be worried. Your period can come at *any* time during your placebo week - even if it's come at the same time to the hour in the past.

Try not to worry, it's perfectly normal to have your period different days during your placebo week. I've never had my period even close to the same day of the week. For example, last month I got my period the 2nd placebo pill, but this cycle I didn't get my period until the Sunday morning I was going to start my new pack.

As long as you are taking your pill correctly, there is a very low chance of pregnany. Just wait it out & try not to worry...the more you worry the more likely you will delay your period with the stress.

It lasted 4-5 days. I think it stopped early Thursday morning to be exact. Taking the pill isn't going to stop your period, it will last however long your periods usually last on the pill. In general, I usually don't get my period until the 5th or 6th placebo pill so I always have my period the first couple days at least while I'm on my first week of the pack. The only thing that matters is that you get your period during the placebo week, it doesn't matter what day exactly.

Yay on the negative test.

However - I don't mean to scare you - but if your period still doesn't show up in a few days you may want to take another test. Cause if your period was supposed to come just now, it's a bit soon to take a test - in theory it's the right time, but it really gets more reliable if you wait a little longer. I mean, you *could* get a false negative sort of easily when you take the test so soon. So you may want to check that again in a few days if you're still not bleeding.

Sorry if I sound paranoid, and I don't want to stress you more. But in France the equivalent of the FDA issued an official warning, stressing that if you miss a period it's better to wait a little before you take the test, for better reliability. It seems there's a high rate of false negatives on the first days of a missed period.

OK, once again I'm really sorry because this sounds like I'm trying to scare you. But it's better to be informed, right?

Two-tests boxes are a great idea I think :) But you're right, if it was 3 weeks ago, chances are it would show on the test by now.

As you probably figured if you went to my journal, I hardly keep a journal at all... and yeah, that's the only one, I don't have one in french. I suck at updating. Either stuff is happening and I have no time, or I have time because nothing is happening - you know? So mostly I post in the communities and read a few people's journals.
