Maybe ...

I had a question about .... bathing!
Anyway. I was wondering if taking a bubble bath effects your vagina? I was thinking because of all the fragrance and additives in the soap, and your vagina just soaking in it. Oh my. I don't want to risk having anything go wrong again. :P I already take a bath twice a week, I'd just like to enjoy a bubble bath every now and then without worrying. ^^

Hmm..well I don't know about bubble baths specifically but baths in general are more likely to cause a UTI, especially if you get them easily.

http://healthcenter.ucdavis.edu/selfcare/vaginal.htm <---I googled some key words from your question and this site says that if you want to avoid yeast infections it's best to avoid bubble baths. Scroll to the bottom of the page under self care/prevention to see other tips.

In general though, I don't think an occasional bubble bath will cause you too many problems. I wouldn't worry too much :D

i think it might depend on the person, specifically your pH. bubble baths REALLY irritate my vagina, so much that i haven't taken a bubble bath in. oh, probably 10 years. i have to get unscented body wash so that it won't irritate my vagina. however, i know no one like me. none of my friends have this problem, nor does my mom.

I have this problem too. Any scented soaps/bubble baths/tampons/etc and most lubes irritate me down there. Glad to hear I'm not the only one with a sensitive 'gina. :)

I was taking bubble baths nearly every day for a little while because I found them relaxing...then I ended up with the WORST UTI/kidney infection imaginable. In the space of a few hours I went from mild burning to pissing bright red blood and vomiting from pain constantly.

BEWARE OF THE BUBBLE BATH!

I'd say that if your vulva is easily irritated, or that you are extra-sensitive to soaps and things, pick a mild bubble bath. I was at Whole Foods yesterday, browsing their body care section, and though I didn't see any (because I wasn't looking for them :P) there's got to be a few brands of all-natural, fragrance-free bubble bath there, just as a suggestion ^_^

taking too many bubblebaths can cause a yeast infection

my mom used to yell at me for taking a lot of bubble baths when i was younger because it can cause yeast infections.

I'd think it would depend on the person as far as YI's, but I know when I was a child bubble baths caused UTI's. I take them from time to time now & haven't had a problem, but I doubt it would be good to do it several times a week. Of course I'd just be too paranoid to do that personally.

If you take bubble baths and don't have problems, go ahead and take them. If you take bubble baths and get UTIs or yeast infections stop taking bubble baths.

I actually had a bottle of bubble bath that said :Warning, bathing in this product may result in urethral irritation or infection. Needless to say it went right in the trash.

I've never got an infection or yeast infection of any kind from bathing or bubble bathing.

My mom used to put dish soap in our baths. Whheeee!

Same here :)

And I never had any problems with UTI or yeast as a child :)

Whenever I have time for a bubble bath (rarely!) I ALWAYS take the shower head a give myself a good rinse off just before getting out. I am especially careful to rinse very thoroughly all around my vag and labia with the clear water to make sure there is no bubble bath residue.
I started doing this because I was quite allergic to perfumed products when I was a kid and if I didn't rinse myself off well I would end up covered all over in a rash.
I've never had a uti since then, but did when I was a child before I started doing the rinsing thing.
