Sore girly bits.

I got out of a two year cohabitating relationship in late December. I have endometriosis, so sex is occasionally painful but I've learned how to work around it. I was on bc the entire time we were together, and early on we got tested and stopped using condoms.

So for the past month or so I've been dating someone new. This guy has the most amazing sex drive ever. We've been having sex at least 2 times a night for the past couple of weeks. At this point, we are using condoms and will continue to use them until we decide to become monogamous and get tested and all of that good stuff.

However, two days ago I had symptoms of what seemed to be the early stages of a UTI - but this isn't another UTI question I promise :)

A couple of hours after I woke up and had the whole burning when I urinated issue, I realized that it wasn't my urethra that was burning, it was literally the entrance to my vagina. By that night, I felt completely normal and when he and I began to have sex, I experienced the most horrible burning pain again. We stopped almost immediately.

After some extensive searching for tears with a mirror, I can't find any. I don't have a strange discharge or anything like that so I doubt it's BV. I don't think it's a latex allergy, I've never really had problems with it before. It's generally just sore in the morning, and as the day progresses it goes away. I'm pretty confused by this. When we have sex I'm definitely turned on and ready to go, so it's not a lube issue. I was thinking maybe it was just the abundance of sex, as the ex and I were having sex once a week if I was lucky during the last few months and my body isn't used to being such an orgasming machine.

We didn't have sex last night, and will probably wait a few more days until I feel better or decide what's going on.

So. I guess I don't have a specific question - just curious if anyone has had similar symptoms, advice etc.

Thanks in advance!

Actually, the same thing happens to me, but I don't have quite as much as sex as you do (share the wealth, dude ;)) and it doesn't happen every time and it's accompanied by tenderness in my uterus (i.e., it hurts if I press). I'd be interested in hearing what others say about your "issue"!

Yay you with the sex :)

I kinda thought it might be BV once.. so I put some polysporin on the outside of the opening and the burning/soreness stopped.. I'm not sure if I should've done that, though..

You won't necessarily have discharge with an infection (BV and other infections can be asymptomatic or asymptomatic except for pain.) It could be sensitivity due to frequent 'use', but just to be on the safe side, I recommend checking with your doctor.

yay for new sex! That happened to me alot when I first started dating my hubby. When we were together all we did was screw, or eat. Anyway, even though you're all lubed up, you're still getting rubbed a lot in there. I've actually sexed so much, my hubby had sex burns. you can try using some extra silicon lube, that might help a little.

I've used Wet Platinum, just cause it's easy to come by, my local sex shop carries it, but I've also heard a lot of people suggesting Eros?...Silicone based lubes are more expensive, but won't dry out and get sticky like water based ones, and so one bottle will last for a long time. Congrats on the new fun!

Yep, I'm a big Eros fan. A bottle lasts ages and ages, too.

I also like Sensua Organics water-based lube a lot, but it is water based so there are evaporation issues.
