Intro's and Questions

Hello Ladies :). This is my first post here, and I wanted to introduce myself before I asked my question(s). My name is Jenny, and I think it's fabulous that a LiveJournal community like this exists. Ok, so anyway...

I guess I should just dive right into this one: No one can get me off (but me, myself, of course.) I've always considered myself to be a pretty relaxed girl, including when it comes to sex, but for some reason no one has been able to make me orgasm. And it hasn't been for lack of trying on their parts. I try to direct them, help 'em out or whatever, but then I just end up getting bored and faking it. So how can I remedy this? I mean, is it me? It could definitely be me, I suppose...

And my second question is, well, I have recurring yeast infections. I'll get rid of it, and then it'll come back in a matter of days or weeks. I tried diflucan once, and that seemed to work for the longest amount of time, but it still eventually comes back. Any suggestions?

Till about a month and a half ago, I'd never been able to orgasm from anyone's "work" but my own, either; either the two guys I'd been with before were just flat-out shit, or this one's fantastic. He's able to get me off from just about anything, which amazes me. I had my clitoral hood pierced vertically in February, and I think that also may have something to do with it--the ring makes it far more sensitive, and definitely at least makes oral sex a lot better.

An herbal fix

Try adding garlic capsules to your diet. Take two a day. Garlic inhibits yeast growth. It takes a little while for it to kick in. It is totally worth it though. I used to have a yeast infection once or twice a month. Now they are very rare. When I feel the first itchies, I use a little monostat on my vulva and take some extra garlic. Nips it right in the bud, so to speak. You can also try taking acidophillus. Recurring vaginal yeast infections are signals that your body chemistry is off. They are also one of the signs of systemic candida (yeast) and diabetes.

Good luck fighting the yeastie beasties.

Sounds like a stupid question, but are you certain it's yeast infections...

You see I felt as though I was in a similar situation - constantly getting yeast infections about once a month, but when I've been to the STD clinic they only actually found in on one swab....

However I do have highly sensitive skin which will give similar symptoms to a yeast infection...so what did they recommmend to help this out when even medical moisturisers gave me rashes??? Believe it or not - vegetable oil in my bath and to wash with in the shower and it's the only thing that seems to work!!!
