something rather amusing (to me) and a question
So, every period, I get "digestive problems" (aka - I get the shits) the day my period begins.
Well, you know how men can get couve ?(sp?) (aka sypathy pregnancy symptoms, weight gain, morning sickness, cravings, ect..) well, Jason got that with both my babies. It seems though, that now, he is having sympathy period symptoms too! Last month, I was having diarhea, and major cramping. Well, so was he, at the same time. I figured we ate something bad. well, later that night, I started my period, and the cramps and shits went away. So did his.
Well, yesterday, he said he was having "stomach problems" all day, and cramps. I started cracking up. "whats so funny?" he asks. I tell him, well, Im supposed to start my period this week. (but not till thursday). A few hours later, I started, and his stomach ache went away. I didnt even get cramps this time! (haha!) I just looked at him and said " I told you!" (because i mentioned he was having sympathy periods, he thinks Im crazy) SO, is this possible?
Ok, and now the real question, I always eat like a starving horse right before my period - specificly craving meat and milk (and I hate milk) anyone else? do any of you know why?

the first time i got my period, i literally stayed up all night eating. i couldn't figure out what the hell was wrong with me, but i couldn't stop eating either.

And I actually get the reverse problem when I get my period - I'm so constipated for the whole time! It's very annoying, though my mom tended to get the shits when she was menstruating.

The green leafies are good for it, too, but they need to be cooked just right to get the kelators to let go of the iron so our bodies can absorb enough of it. A good steamer is a vegetarian(or notta-lotta-meat-eater)'s best friend in that week before a period.

Of course, during my period, the thought of food makes me sick. Go figure.

funny, I was talking to a friend about that tonight. I am severely lactose intolerant (my friend has a mild case) and I crave CHEESE badly when I'm about to get my period. I also will crave beef... so I normally have to eat a cheeseburger to satisfy my needs. I'm not big on dairy or meat either, but it just happens.

i also get such digestive problems during and right before my period begins, and after having a talk with my gyno about that, and telling her that i take aleve to relieve symptoms, she shared with me that not only will aleve help cramps, but will help with diarreah. the drug in aleve counteracts the hormone that is released during yr period that causes the diareah. pretty interesting.
those sympathy pains are amazing. you two must have a really wonderful, beautiful relationship.

And yeah, although I want to kick him in the head sometimes, we do have a pretty special thing going.
you know, he had a dream about my daughter (not his) and I days before we met him. Also, we shared a dream once, in which words were being written on a wall. I was writing them, and they were written on the same wall, in his dream. I didnt finish writing out the words, and in his dream, the writing on the wall was stopped mid-sentence - just where I had stopped writing them. ook, you probably think Im nuts now!!
