(I posted this a while back, but it was a friends only post, and I didn't get many replies at all and really no answer, so I thought I'd give it another shot without going friends only -_-)
Hi there. This seemed like a good place to ask, you peoples seem to know the answers to a lot of things.
Basically, my problem is,at various stages of arousal I start getting pains in that entire area. Sometimes it's very localized and mild, like an ache in my vulva and the area surrounding it, and sometimes the entire works down there seem really achey and congested, including interally. Sometimes I only feel it after I orgasm, and sometimes I start feeling it the minute I get a tiny bit aroused. Sometimes it doesn't hurt unless I touch down there, sometimes it hurts very much without agitation. It -seems- to change according to my cycle, but honestly, as I am not actually sexually active and never have been I don't really monitor my cycle all that closely. It does seem to happen mostly around my period, both before and after, so maybe it's hormone related?
I'm unsure what on earth these pains could be, or how to make them stop. Sometimes it hurts -really- bad, and that's obviously not a good thing. If I had to describe what they feel like, it feels kind of like... like the blood vessels (or whatever is down there that could be hurting) are congested and full. It doesn't -sting-, it's more of a deep ache, and when I kind of probe around the areas of the pain (just inside the labia majora and outside the labia minora) I can sort-of feel some tiny, painful lumps, almost like congested blood vessels. The lumps and pain subside gradually. When the internal stuff is involved as well, it almost feels like a menstrual cramp, albeit much more mild than they cramps I get while menstruating.
Also, I -think- I may have endometriosis, although after talking with some of the girls at the endo community it seems if I have it it's fairly mild compared to them. Don't get me wrong, I'm in horrible, horrible pain when I menstruate, but it seems somewhat inconsistent. Sometimes it's absolutely awful just-let-me-die-already pain with nausea, sometimes it's merely horrible but I survive somehow.
Anyone have any ideas what could be causing it? I'd appreciate any help.
