hey, im on antibiotics at the moment, and i think i have a yeast infection. what are the symptoms? at the moment, i have this weird whitish stuff coming out of me... it's thick, but not like my normal discharge. i had one a few years ago, but i dont remember what it was like. yarg. thanks! :D

no, not dry at all. really wet with that whitish stuff. and i just dont know what it is.

It sounds pretty probable that it's a yeast infection. I tend to get those when I'm on antibiotics, too. Tell your Dr. and they can prescribe a pill that you only take once that clears it up in a couple of days. I don't know if this is the correct spelling, but it's calle Diflucan. For next time you have to take nasty antibiotics, make sure you eat about (at least) a cup of yogurt with your pill and it should keep the yeasties away :) Works for me great!

i've been eating yogurt every day... at least once a day, usually twice or three times a day. and this still happened. ahhh i just cant win! and yogurt is no fun for people like me... people with lactose intolerance. blech.

Itching. Lots of itching.

Normally antibiotics give me no problems, but recently I was on a very high dose (850 mg twice a day) of Augmenten (a high powered drug) for 10 days, and I ended up w/a yeast infection. I ate yogurt every single day while I was taking it, but it didn't help. My mother said it was the extremely strong dose that did it.
