Random swelling on labia

As I was showering today, I noticed some small swelling on my labia. I have swelling in two areas (one is small like a pimple) and the other seems a bit larger. I shave and I'm prone to ingrowns almost every time I shave, but I haven't ever noticed any swelling like this before. I have some on my bikini line as we speak and I can see the hair where the bump is! The area of swelling isn't painful at all.

So far, I've been using a warm compress to help with the swelling.

Has anybody else experienced random swelling that isn't painful? What did you do about it?

I think I might have a YI too :(. Do YIs cause swelling as well?

Well this is weird. I had basically the same thing happen to me today. One of my inner labia was swollen, the other wasn't. Um, I just stopped poking at it and the swelling went away, though I do believe I am getting a YI so I wouldn't be surprised if the two were related.

Anyway if the swelling doesn't go down by Monday, see if you can get to a walk in clinic.

Yeah, it's only one side, and it's not even the whole side! Did yours hurt? Mine isn't painful at all, but it's weird because I don't recall ever getting such random swelling. I guess my boyfriend might have contributed to this problem with friction, maybe? :X
