If it's Acidophilus, then acidophilus is acidophilus, which appears to be something of a jack-of-all-trades Lactobacillus. There are some other types of lactobacillus which colonize the vagina, which might be bundled in yeast-infection-prevention brands. Look for: "L. iners, L. crispatus, L. gasseri, L. jenesenii [the primary lactobacilli in the vaginal ecosystem], followed by L. acidophilus, L. fermentum, L. plantarum, L. brevis, L. casei, L. vaginalis, L. delbrueckii, L. salivarius, L. reuteri, and L. rhamnosus."
