Pain and cream

Hello all. Ive been posting on here for a while about sex pain. My gyno ruled out all infections and she said it wouldn't be from my hemorrhoids. She gave me this little tube of cream that they use before vaginal surgeries that thickens muscle walls and allows the vagina to be much more elastic. I don't notice a difference yet but it's only been a few days. I just didn't know if anyone here had used it. The name is Estrace. Any help or advice would be appreciated! Thanks!!!

First of all, I've never used this (or any estrogenic) cream. But I just looked over the product info. Were you given a precise amount of cream? If so, it's usually one or two weeks' worth, the theory being that you'll need to take it for a short time, but consistently, before your vagina responds to it fully.

If you've been on it for only a few days, that wouldn't be enough time for it to finish the job. So, just stick with it (as long as you're not experiencing any bad side effects) and observe the changes to your vagina after one/two weeks. Good luck.

My advice: Go back and ask for very specific directions on how much, how often, and how long to use it.
