(no subject)

I usually take my pill around 9pm, but I forgot last night and only realized it this morning while brushing my teeth. I took it right away and plan on taking the Wed. pill at the regular time. This is the only pill I've missed since I started BC.

Question is this: I'm not sexually active yet, but that'll probably change come December. Is one skipped pill in Sept/Oct going to make a difference in the overall effectiveness come December? I'm a stickler for knowing these things. Thanks!

Absolutley not. Don't worry! :)

I have sex all the time, and I usually forget a pill at least once a month (I usually take mine around 10pm) - and I've always been fine.

Heavens, no. Missing one pill hardly makes a difference, and if you make it up (as you did) you don't even need to use backup right afterwards (your pill information leaflet should confirm this). If you miss two pills in a row, you will need backup for one week. After that, everything's back to normal.

You'll be just fine. :)
