pimples or warts

alrighty sooo a few weeks back I posted about a cyst type thing on my perineum that I thought was maybe a cyst pimple or a hemorrhoid.  The bump is gone now, but every once in a while when I poke around down there if I touch that spot too hard it's like I feel it under the skin. It used to be about the size of a pea and a little raised and now it's less than half that size and under the skin.

Now part 2. I haven't showered in 2 days (gross wtv, I didn't have time!) and then this morning there was 1 big pimple on my labia. I did the thing I wasn't supposed to do, I popped it. I just noticed now a tiny little pimple beside it.

I'm getting really worried.  I've had pimples down there before but now there are 2 plus that weird thing near my ass and I'm freaking out! I think the pimples might be clogged pores but I've done that thing were I try to google what I have and that never ends well.

I'm working full time the next 2 weeks and going to school at night and my gyno is ALWAYS a month backed up so I don't know what to do

Best thing to do is make an emergency appointment with the gyn asap. While there is something there to culture it is worth being very insistent on getting in fast. Insist to whomever picks up the phone you need a culture NOW and also ask once there for a type specific herpes blood test and get yourself a pap, hpv check, etc.
No way to know anything until you get results. Be firm on getting in to the doc soon. Might be nothing but best to be sure.

Is there a general walk-in clinic or health clinic near you? Maybe even at your school?

1- That sounds like typical cystic acne. It's common to get in the genital area (especially if you don't bathe often and/or sweat heavily). Furthermore cysts can take up to 6 weeks to develop and as long to go away, which is why you still feel remnants of the cyst.

2- I agree that they're probably just pimples and are linked to the not bathing often enough and whatever hormonal factors may be causing the cystic acne in the first place. When you pop a pimple (only if you must), it's best to do it in or after a hot shower so it doesn't get infected or trigger more pimples near it. Good luck!

There is no way for anyone to say with certainty what the spots sound like or what they are. It is irresponsible to soothe OP with "it sounds like typical acne" or "they are probably just pimples". We dont know that at all. And, we have no way of knowing that.

Pimples that recur in the genital area can be nothing, or they can be something.
Often the only symptom of genital herpes is a recurrent pimple or ingrown hair.

We are not doctors and we havent seen her or tested her so she needs to go to a professional to get it checked out.

Hi, [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com]. I'm writing on behalf of the VP Team to express concern that the attitude and/or wording above do not foster what we consider safe space (http://www.vaginapagina.com/index.php?title=VaginaPagina_FAQ#What_is_.22Safe_Space.22.3F_What_does_.22empowerment.22_mean.3F) in this community. Specifically, we are concerned with your assertion that "it is irresponsible to soothe the OP with 'it sounds like typical acne' or 'they are probably just pimples.'" It is clearly stated in our intro post on LJ and in our FAQ (http://www.vaginapagina.com/index.php?title=VaginaPagina_FAQ#Is_this_medical_advice.3F) that VP is not in the business of dispensing medical advice. There is a distinction between saying what something sounds like it may be and what something is. Commenters here are suggesting possibilities, which is perfectly acceptable in VP - not making diagnoses, which is not.

Please consider this a warning as well as a friendly reminder to take this opportunity to review VP's policies. You can find more information on safe space (http://www.vaginapagina.com/index.php?title=VaginaPagina_FAQ#What_is_.22Safe_Space.22.3F_What_does_.22empowerment.22_mean.3F) in our FAQ (http://www.vaginapagina.com/index.php?title=VaginaPagina_FAQ), as linked here:

You are more than welcome to make a post over in [livejournal.com profile] contact_vp or to contact us via email (http://www.vaginapagina.com/contact.php) If you'd like to talk more about this matter or clarify any points; we only ask that you refrain from commenting further here out of respect for the OP.
