Menopause

Hey everyone, I need your help!

My mom is entering into her menopause stage of life. A friend of hers a very long time ago used some sort of lavender lotion to help calm (or replace?) her hormones.

Does anyone know what this might be? I've tried googling a little but am not having much success. Bonus points if you have first or second hand knowledge of how well it works. (Bonus bonus if it can be ordered online!)
