Pain During Sex!

My girlfriend is in college, and comes to my house to stay every weekend. Well, we have sex a few times the first day she gets here, and the next few days it hurts her when we try to have sex anymore.

She describes the pain like so:
"It hurts inside, feels dry, burns a little and feels like he's stretching it. Once he get's all the way in, it only hurts when he moves in and out, it just burns a little when he sits still. We tried to use tingly KY gel lube, and saliva as a lubricant but both burn."
We spend long enough on foreplay and we've been sexually active for a year+, this "problem" is a recent one. And she gets pretty wet and aroused, so I don't see how that would be the problem. She gets wet, she just feels like it's dry and painful after the first couple of times. We don't use condoms.

She got on a different birth control (pills), she's on her second month. If that has anything to do with it.

If she feels dry, then that's probably the problem. Get some normal non-fancy lube and give that a try.

Might be a combination of dryness from the new BC (it's a common side effect), and irritation from the "tingly" KY. I find that if I'm dryer, more stuff irritates me, and a lot of those "sensation-enhancing" lubes have ingredients that irritate a lot of people.

Fancy lubes that don't have glycerin or parabens are nice (and totally worth the cost), but if'n you're broke college students limited to the selection at Walgreen's or whatever, Astroglide is pretty good.

I'd definitely suggest using a better lube. O'My Natural lube is great.

My husband and I have been having sex for almost nine years now, and this still happens... if you've had sex a few times it's likely that the tissue is a little bit swollen and irritated. In my experience, lube only helps *before* you get to the 'burning sensation' stage. I'd recommend trying even more foreplay (wetness can precede loosening by quite a bit)... can also be helpful to not move in and out too much at first and give her a chance to relax and accommodate you before the soreness sets in.

It's possible it's the HBC. Mine made my vag like the Sahara desert. I'd stick with your basic lube, like astroglide, or no-nonsense KY.

I would try a different lube, something not "tingly" or anything, just straight-up lubricating. Just because she's aroused doesn't mean the wetness will last forever--it's not a fountain down there.

You might need a better lube. She might have a low grade infection (yeast or BV or something else). Have your sexual habits changed lately? If I had sex more than once in a day, I'd be uncomfortable too....that's pretty normal, although if its abnormal for her of course that's something to look in to.

I would get rid of the tingly lube. Every time me or my partners have used anything 'tingly', one of us has received a UTI. It's not pleasureful sex and it's definitely not pleasureful afterwords.

HBC can change your PH, it could be an issue you have to deal with or a low grade infection. I would have her go to the Dr if the problem persists.

I had a similar issue when I was on HBC, I would get torn up literally. I went to the Dr a few time. The first time I would have sex it would be fine then second it would hurt & burn b/c I had minor tearing and sperm & things have salt and irritants. I absolutely HATE KY it burns so much I cried once. Try System Jo or another glycerin/ Paraben free stuff. I picked up some at my local sex shop for $8.

Also I cool washcloth would help with the pain..ice felt amazing. It sounds like you are actually tearing her insides a bit. Pretty common according to my Dr I went too.

Birth Control has many many random side effects like I couldn't continue wearing contacts for awhile b/c I suddenly got dry eye so a dry vag even if she is aroused is rather common.
