pill and short, short periods

I used to have terribly heavy and long periods. Like, almost 9 days long. And even though I've been on the pill previously, the periods didn't really shorten.

Now I'm on triquilar, and my periods, after 5 months on the pill, have become 3 days long, and the flow is not much more than spotting.

This is excellent.

Anyone else experience this?

Yep. Off of HBC, my periods were in the 9-12 day range. On most forms of HBC, they shortened to 5 or 6 days. On one brand (not Triquilar), at their shortest, they were a day or two of some brown gunk in my underwear.

I miss those days.

Before I was taking Yaz, my periods were 7-8 days and required heavy tampons [with backup!] the whole entire time. Once I had a period on Yaz [I stacked the first three packs... I'm not sure if I like that, though], it was 4 days and insanely light. I loooove it :]
