I've done a lot of experimenting with brazilian waxing. I've had it done professionally about a dozen times, and before and after those experiences I've done it at home. There's some good stuff by bath and body works that really does the job (gotta have a way to keep it warm in the bathroom. I recommend either a candle/mug warmer plate or a pan of HOT water), there's Nads and Moom (both sugar waxes, Nads hurts but lasts a long time, haven't experimented enough with Moom to really give a good review) and there's Sally Hanson Bikini Wax (kicks some pubic hair butt, but hurts and lasts like 3-4 weeks). The one that I've recently tried isn't store bought. It's home made and it's called sugaring. The ingredients are 3 cups granulated sugar, 2 1/2 cups water, 4 tsp. lemon juice. You just heat it on the stove until "rolling" boiling, let it boil a couple of minutes, then back off the heat so it's not rolling but still boiling. Watch the color turn to light golden brown (~25 minutes), then lower heat to simmer and watch for color to turn a definite brown (~20 minutes). Then you take it off the heat and let it cool a bit. Pour it into a heavy duty plastic container and let it cool for about a day. It should feel a littler harder than Nads, def not as gooey. Then you use it like shown here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=COo0Mx_Rd-A Sometimes it takes a couple of tries to get the sugar paste to heat up enough for maximum pulling action, but it really works. When it gets too gooey to handle, just grab another piece from the container and go again. I barely have pubes now because I've done it 3 times. It's also the cheapest method. You just gotta be brave enough to experiment in the kitchen a bit and then rip your own hair out.
grocery stores, drug store, etc. There's a no heat kind (the green and white box) and a hard/heat bikini specific kind (red box). The no heat works best BUT, I feel like I should warn you. When I say it hurts, I mean it can make you cry. Some girls can't use it because it bruises them. So, good news is it gets every last little hair there is with fantastic results, the bad news is it can possibly make you bruised and feel like you've just ripped your skin off with ductape and super glue. This is just a possibility, though. Also, if you're going full on brazilian you might need a few more strips than what they give you in the box. An old sheet cut up into strips works great if they don't have any extra strips at the store. I would also recommend that if you're doing this for vaca or something, try and do it a week ahead of time.
