could anyone recommend a decent pubic hair waxer/brand commonly found in drug stores to me? ^^

i'm glad you asked this, i've been looking around too!
All i can tell you is i really don't recommend Sally Hansen Lavender Wax (http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51vlN2OQWlL._SL500_AA280_.jpg)
it smells great but it's really unmanageable and just makes a damn mess.

I've done a lot of experimenting with brazilian waxing. I've had it done professionally about a dozen times, and before and after those experiences I've done it at home. There's some good stuff by bath and body works that really does the job (gotta have a way to keep it warm in the bathroom. I recommend either a candle/mug warmer plate or a pan of HOT water), there's Nads and Moom (both sugar waxes, Nads hurts but lasts a long time, haven't experimented enough with Moom to really give a good review) and there's Sally Hanson Bikini Wax (kicks some pubic hair butt, but hurts and lasts like 3-4 weeks).
The one that I've recently tried isn't store bought. It's home made and it's called sugaring. The ingredients are 3 cups granulated sugar, 2 1/2 cups water, 4 tsp. lemon juice. You just heat it on the stove until "rolling" boiling, let it boil a couple of minutes, then back off the heat so it's not rolling but still boiling. Watch the color turn to light golden brown (~25 minutes), then lower heat to simmer and watch for color to turn a definite brown (~20 minutes). Then you take it off the heat and let it cool a bit. Pour it into a heavy duty plastic container and let it cool for about a day. It should feel a littler harder than Nads, def not as gooey. Then you use it like shown here:

Sometimes it takes a couple of tries to get the sugar paste to heat up enough for maximum pulling action, but it really works. When it gets too gooey to handle, just grab another piece from the container and go again. I barely have pubes now because I've done it 3 times. It's also the cheapest method. You just gotta be brave enough to experiment in the kitchen a bit and then rip your own hair out.

I recently used parissa brand strip-less hot wax for my bikini line, and it worked pretty well. It was kind of messy, but I'm guessing that's just a feature of wax and my inexperience. The stripless aspect was kind of nice because it made the wax go further...I just remelted it and used it again. (Probably not the most sanitary thing to do, but whatev.)

I could never get sugar to work as well as the wax did...but the good thing is that with sugar you don't have that moment of terror where you've applied the wax and really don't want to rip it off...but don't have any choice. Yowch!

Nads is easy to use because the wax is already pressed onto the strips so you just press the fabric strips down onto the skin and then work up the nerve to rip them off. It does hurt a lot (hurts more than when I got waxed professionally).

i use sally hansen waxing strips and they are totally, totally awesome. the wax is already set into strips and there's no gigantic mess to deal with.
