Sex on Top?

This might be a weird question, but anyone have any tips for riding on top?
I just can't seem to get it right.

Edit: No problem getting his penis in -- the problem is starting and getting that in-and-out motion.

It depends whether he likes more of the thrusting or the grinding really. The grinding for me and my SO works better. What I do is get him in has far as I can (it sometimes involves shifting my legs one he's in), get him to hold my hips and he helps guide me backwards and forwards.

Yes, important point. Some guys (and gals) like different things. My SO doesn't get anything out of the grinding thing, and neither do I for that matter, so it's thrusting for us.
