Ok so I asked the question about birth control. And you all said seven days, well what is the chance that you would get pregnet, I mean I am taking my BC pills everyday and yesterday made the 9th pill that I have taken and I went off the antibiotics on sunday and had sex on monday eve? I am married so if anything happens its fine, only thing is we don't have insurence at the time.   Thanks

I would think your chances of pregnancy are pretty low, but you should use back up for a week after you get off the antibiotics, if I'm not mistaken.

thanks for all of the help, i called the pharm, and he said i have absolutely nothing to worry about, that it is no likely and they have to put that on the description. But he said you so always use precaution just in case, but since I waited a day after I took my last pill he said he is sure that I am fine, because amoxicillin only stays in your body six hours, and it was way past six hours. :)

hmm, i was on amoxicillin and the nurse at my gyno told me to use back-up for the next month. so confusing.

yeah that is weird, but i called and asked and that is what he told me.. so I don't know.. But I really think that I am ok. I guess we will see.

i'm sure you are, i know the 30 days was kind of over-the-top, but i'm slightly paranoid so i'm fine with it. :) it's not certain that that antibiotic effects your birth control in the first place.

yeah. I am very paranoid. LoL It is nice to know that I am not the only person that gets so crazy and worry about things.
