Twinge in the lower abdomen
I'm on HBC, the pill, and I take it regularly; I haven't been more than 30 minutes late in the last 5 weeks. Today I was standing at work, I go a twinge in my lower right half, a bit in from my hip bone... It felt a lot like ovulation pain, mittleschmertz, which I used to get all the time. Is it possible I just ovulated, even though I'm on BC? If so, does that mean I'm not protected from pregnancy?
ETA I had 3 cysts on my ovary as of August of 2005, but I asked my gyno about them in May of 2007, and she said that she couldn't feel them, so I didn't have them. I've been consistently on BC since then, so ideally I haven't ovulated and gotten more...?
