Gardisil Question

I got the first shot of the series on March 15. Anyway, the nurse told me it would hurt. My shoulder ached for 2 days afterwards. Then it felt better. but it's just aching today in the area where the shot was given. Anyone else experience this?

I have to go back for shot #2 in May and Im afraid because it really did hurt last time:( Shots aren't all that bad for me but this shot hurt!

p.s. Im not saying you shouldn't get it!


EDIT: My second shot is in May but I said april by accident!

You should check with you dr and insurance company. The immunization schedule for Gardasil is given in three injections over six months, namely at enrollment, and two and six months later. My insurance would not cover it and my dr would not administer unless it was a full 2 months after the first injection.

my bad. I guess I thought it was april but it's actually May.
