Cervical Mucus

My fiance and I are trying to concieve. I have been fertile since Friday. I have a problem with ovarian cysts, so much so that when I ovulate, I get a little bloated and crampy. So, tonight, I was having a bit of that and decided to attempt sex.

When he pulled out of me, a gel-like substance came out and it was kind of clearish-whitish. Could that have been my cervical mucus? And if it was, wouldn't that mean I was really fertile?

Yeah, it looked like a string of jelly or something. It was even stretchy (ew, lol).

Fertile quality cervical fluid is generally stretchy.

yes but fertile quality cervical fluid is also usually fluid. in one way or another.

in my experience - and assuming that the OP and I are sharing the same - this was not.
I get fertile "egg white" fluid, and this is not it. the best way to describe it without providing photos is gelatinous. it is thick globular mucus that comes out in one long clump, not as general (lubricating) fluid.
as i said before, it's rather like a long thick blood clot, but made of mucus. and technically, for the purpose of fertile fluid, it wouldn't do the job.

it took me awhile to get over the weirdness of it... but i'm just assuming it's a normal part of my vag etc cleaning herself out periodically.
