Many breast cancers feed on hormones, so patients are giving hormone-blocking treatments. Hormonal contraceptives do have a protective effect against some cancers, but, as far as I know, not against breast cancer, and I've not heard of hormonal contraceptives being used as treatment for breast cancer.

Could you provide more information, please? If there is additional information that I'm not aware of, I'm very interested in seeing it.
