Divacup

My mom is scared for me to try a Diva Cup even after reading the Q&A & Testimonials.

She is worried they aren't safe, sterile, or "the best" and she is going to ask her gyno about them at the end of this month.

In the mean time, has anyone had any NEGATIVE experiences with it?

Can I ask what the difference is between the two Mooncups?

Well, the Moon Cup is manufactured by the company that also makes the Keeper...I believe it has the same dimensions as the Keeper, just in silicone. The Mooncup UK is made by entirely another company, and it's different from other cups in that it's very short and has a thick rim.

This post (http://community.livejournal.com/menstrual_cups/473758.html) has comparative pictures...if you scroll down to the second-to-last-comment, there's one that's been edited to include the dimensions. :)

On second thought/viewing, it seems that the Moon Cup by Keeper also has a relatively thick rim. But yes. The Mooncup UK is just different from the others, if mostly in appearance.

Wow, I've never seen them laid out side by side before. Thanks!
