Couldn't someone in the hospital HAVE a wart causing strain without showing any signs though? A friend of mine has HPV, and never had any genital warts at all for years after she had had sex, but still had the virus and was able to pass it on. So really, that only shows that none of them show any signs of the virus, not that none of them HAVE it.
